This British website is dedicated to two things:

- support for innocent victims wherever they may be and

- a searching for the truth.

Please contribute to the discussions and help bring this site to life.

For a start do you believe that a "war on terrorism" makes any sense in an international context?

NEWS PAGE

This page will contain a growing list of news sources. It will take some time to fill up. However, hopefully some of these sources will give a different perspective on current events.

UNUSUAL NEWS SOURCES
Pravda - English language with unexpectedly interesting reports.

Taleban.com - seems to be permanently down.

OneWorld.net - a collection of news stories and background from over 150 organisations around the world. Their news section provides a useful alternative to more mainstream services.

Afghan Daily - slick English language compilation of news from many sources. Also links to other Afghan sites but most seem to be down.

Mujhadin Daily News - from "within Afghanistan". Not much here but at least it is close to the news.

MIDDLE EAST/SOUTH ASIA
Aljazeera only in Arabic but this was the only major organisation with people on the ground in Afghanistan. Expect good reporting here if the shooting starts in Iraq.

You can translate the site by going to tarjim.ajeeb.com/ajeeb/ and putting www.aljazeera.net in the first box and clicking the button. It gives surprisingly good results and Aljazeera is certainly worth a visit. (Thanks to Ann hospital for the translation tip.)

Yemen Times (weekly in English)
Riyadh Daily News - official Saudi paper. Gives a good idea of the official Saudi line but don't expect to see dissident voices accurately represented.

Pakistan - to come

Other Islamic Countries
Malaysia - to come
Indonesia - to come
